A.V.R. Engineers

Our workshop is sitting at D-43 in the Industrial Focal Point. It’s the kind of area where you hear the sound of metal and machines from every building on the block. A.V.R. Engineers has been here for a good while, and the place looks like it. There’s grease on the floors and tools hanging on the walls right where we can reach them. We don't bother with fancy decorations because they’d just get covered in dust anyway. Most of our day is spent at the benches or looking over technical drawings. It’s loud, it’s often hot, and there is always something that needs to be ground down or welded. We take our tea breaks together when we can, usually just standing around the main table talking about whatever needs to be finished by the end of the shift. The Focal Point is a busy place, with trucks coming in and out all day long, so it never really gets quiet until after the sun goes down. We’ve got a few machines that have been with us since the start, and we know exactly how they sound when they’re running right. It’s just honest engineering work. We aren't interested in being the biggest firm around, just in making sure the parts we produce are what they need to be for the job. It’s what we know how to do, and we just keep doing it every single day.
