Asija Kirana Store

Asija Kirana Store sits over on Tibba Road in the Maya Puri area of Ludhiana. We’ve been at this spot for a long time now. Most of the people living around 7574 know us well enough. It’s a standard kirana shop where we keep all the daily essentials. You can find things like soap, lentils, and cooking oil without much trouble. The street gets pretty crowded during the day, so there is always something going on outside our door. We open up early and stay open until the evening rush dies down. It’s a lot of work keeping track of all the small items, but we manage. Sometimes the delivery trucks take their time getting here through the traffic, but that’s just life in Ludhiana 141008. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us making sure the shelves aren't empty. It’s a simple setup. We don’t go for anything flashy. We just want to make sure the neighbors can get their milk or tea leaves when they need them. A lot of the kids from the nearby houses come in for snacks too. It’s nice seeing the families grow up over the years. We keep the books the old way mostly. It’s just a practical business for practical people. If you are walking down Tibba Road, you will see us there. It is just a local shop doing its thing every day and trying to stay useful.
