You can find me at C-55, Dattaguru C.H.S. in New Panvel. I’m on the first floor in Room No. 06. Being in Sector 07 puts me right in the middle of a growing part of Mumbai. Arvind Raghavan Interiors & Designers is mostly just me and a couple of helpers when things get busy. I’ve lived in Maharashtra for a long time, so I know how people here like their homes to look. It’s not a big company with a receptionist or a coffee machine for guests. It’s just a room where I sit and work on designs and talk to clients. Most of my work involves going out to people’s flats in the New Panvel area and seeing what they need. Sometimes it is just a simple cupboard, and other times it is a whole flat that needs work. I don't use a lot of fancy technology. I still like using a pencil and paper for my first ideas. Getting things right takes time, especially with the humidity we get in Mumbai affecting the materials. I just try to be practical about what can be done in a certain budget. Most of my clients are just regular people from the neighborhood who found out about me from a friend. I don’t do any big advertising. I just focus on the job at hand and move to the next. That is how I keep things going.
