Arora Karyana Shop

Arora Karyana Shop is right here in Aman Nagar, just across from Evershine School on that 30 Feet Road in Ludhiana. I spend most of my day inside these four walls, making sure the shelves have what people usually come looking for in the morning or after work. It’s not a very big place, but it keeps us busy enough from dawn until we pull the shutters down at night. Being near the school means there’s always noise and kids running around, which makes the day go by a bit faster. We’ve stayed in this spot for a while now, and the neighbors know us by name. Dealing with the heat in Ludhiana can be tough sometimes, but you just get used to it after so many years. I try to keep things organized, though sometimes boxes pile up when a new delivery comes in and I haven't had the time to sort them out yet. There is always something to do, like checking the jars or cleaning the front step. People drop in for bread, milk, or just a small packet of something they forgot for dinner. It’s a simple way of living, really. You talk to the regulars, hear about their day, and wait for the next person to walk in. We don’t have fancy displays or anything like that. It’s just a regular shop where we do our work and go home.
