Anu Gupta

Working out of MES Colony in the Konana area of Agrahara, specifically at number 89, feels a bit different than being in the middle of a commercial district. It is more of a neighborhood vibe here. Anu Gupta is the name on the door, and the work we do is pretty grounded in the everyday needs of the people around here. The office is really just a converted room with enough space for a couple of desks and a lot of filing cabinets. We don't have a big sign or anything to draw attention. People mostly find us through word of mouth or because they live nearby. Ludhiana is a big city, but this corner of it feels a bit smaller and more personal. We spend a lot of time on the phone or filling out forms that seem to never end. There is a certain routine to it that we’ve grown to appreciate over the years. The neighbor’s dog usually barks when the mail comes, which is how we know the day is moving along. We don't try to pretend to be something we aren't. It is just a small operation where we take care of the tasks at hand and try to stay organized. Sometimes the internet is slow, or we run out of printer ink at the worst time, but that’s just life. We are just here doing our bit at house eighty-nine every single day of the week.
