Aadi Knit Fab

Aadi Knit Fab is located down Kali Sarak in the Anand Puri Colony area. We are quite close to the Jalandhar Bye-pass, which makes it easier for the trucks to find us, though the traffic can be a nightmare on Monday mornings. Our building is a bit older and the paint is peeling in some spots, but it holds all our machines and that is what matters. We do a lot of knitting and fabric work here. You can hear the hum of the machines from the street before you even walk through the gate. It is a loud environment, but we have gotten used to it over the years. Inside, it is mostly just rows of equipment and big rolls of yarn stacked up to the ceiling. We do not have a big corporate office or anything like that. My desk is tucked into a corner where I can keep an eye on the floor. We have a small group of people working here, most of whom live nearby in the colony. We share a meal in the afternoons and talk about things other than work for a bit. It is not a fancy operation, and we don't try to make it seem like one. We just focus on getting the fabric out the door and making sure the machines do not break down too often. It is a lot of manual labor and long hours, but it keeps us going day after day.
