Sly Fashions

Sly Fashions is located at 1549 Amarpura. It’s a simple address for a simple business. Our shop is tucked away in the neighborhood, and it’s where we spend most of our waking hours. We don't have a big fancy sign or a window display. Mostly, you just see the work going on inside if the door is open. 1549 is an old building, but it serves us well enough for what we do. We have our sewing machines lined up against the wall and a large table in the middle for cutting out patterns. The lighting isn't always the best, so we have some extra lamps around to see what we are doing. Amarpura is a busy place, and there’s always noise from the street coming in. We don't mind it much anymore. We make all kinds of clothes here, focusing on the basics that people need. It’s not about being trendy for us; it’s about making things that last. We sometimes run out of a certain color of thread and have to go hunting for it, which can be a bit of a pain. Our team is small, just a few local people who know their way around a needle and thread. We don't have any big goals other than finishing the work we have for the day. It’s a quiet life in some ways, even with the machine noise. We just show up at 1549 Amarpura and do our best until it’s time to lock up and go home.
