Accordant Organic Agro Llp is situated on the first floor of a building in Bhim Nagar. You have to look for Kulwinder Singh’s place. We are right on the Phagwara Road in Hoshiarpur, Punjab. Being in 146001 puts us in a good spot for meeting farmers from the surrounding villages. We focus on organic stuff, which means we spend a lot of time talking about what not to put in the soil. It is a bit more work than the regular way of farming, but we think it is worth the extra effort. The office on the Phagwara Road is where we keep all our records. It is usually pretty loud with the traffic outside, but we don't mind it much. We started this because we wanted to see more healthy food coming out of our local area. It is just a few of us running the show. We aren't experts in big business, but we know about plants and dirt. Sometimes we make mistakes with the paperwork or forget to call someone back right away, but we always get the job done. People around Purhiran and Gurdaspur know us as the organic guys. We are just trying to do things a bit differently than our parents did. It is a slow process but we are sticking with it because we like seeing the land stay healthy.
