Syv Infra Ventures is based at 1/109 in Vikrant Khand. If you know the Gomti Nagar area, you know it’s a mix of family homes and small offices like the one we run. We’ve been working out of this spot for some time now. Our work is mostly focused on local infrastructure and small development projects around Lucknow. The office is tucked away in a residential lane, so it’s not flashy or even easy to spot if you aren't looking for it. We usually have a few people moving in and out all day, mostly supervisors and people coming back to report on project statuses. Gomti Nagar has changed so much since we first started, and we’ve been part of some of those changes in our own small way. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to handle social media; most of our work comes from people just knowing who we are and what we do. We spend a lot of time on the phone coordinating with the labor teams and the material suppliers. It can be a bit of a headache when the supply trucks are late or the weather turns bad suddenly, but we just keep pushing through. We try to be very practical about how we approach things. If a wall needs to go up or a pipe needs to be laid, we make sure it’s done right. There’s quite a bit of paperwork involved in this business, which we handle from the back room.
