Surya Public School

The school is situated on Sultanpur Road near the Cantt area in Lucknow. If you know this part of the city, you know it can get quite busy with traffic. Our gates are right there, and we see all sorts of people passing by every day. Inside, it’s a bit quieter than the main road. We have students coming from different parts of Lucknow, some arriving by bus and others getting dropped off by their parents. The building has been here for some time, and it shows a bit of age in places, but it serves its purpose. We have classrooms for different age groups and a small office where we handle the paperwork. During the winter, the mornings are foggy and cold, so everyone comes wrapped in sweaters. In the summer, it's the opposite. We spend a lot of time making sure the fans are working. There is a lot of chatter in the hallways between classes. We don't have a lot of extra stuff, just the books, the chairs, and the teachers who show up every day. It’s a straightforward place to be. We see the kids growing up year after year, which is interesting to watch. Some of the staff have been here for a decade or more. We just go about our business day by day, teaching the kids and making sure they follow the rules. It's a typical school life on the outskirts of the Cantt area.
