Gd Goenka Public School

Our school is located in Sector B of Shushant Golf City, right near the Amar Shaheed Path in Lucknow. It’s a fairly new part of the city, so the surroundings are a bit more open than the older areas. The building itself is large and has plenty of rooms for all the different classes we host. We have a lot of space for the buses to park and for the kids to move around during the day. It’s a busy place, especially when the morning shift starts and everyone is rushing to get to their classrooms on time. We have some decent facilities, but we don't spend much time bragging about them. Most of our work is just the regular stuff—keeping the hallways clean, making sure the teachers have enough supplies, and answering the phones when parents call in. It’s a bit of a trek for some of the staff to get here, but we make it work. We follow the standard curriculum and try to keep things moving along smoothly throughout the term. There’s always something that needs fixing, whether it’s a lightbulb or a desk that’s lost a screw. We don’t have a corporate office running things; it’s just us on the ground making sure the school stays open and the kids are learning. It’s a practical, everyday sort of place for families in this part of Lucknow.
