SMVR Developers is run from C23/D in the SRY area of Lucknow. It is a residential kind of setup, which is how many businesses in this part of Lucknow start out. We are located near where Sri R P Verma’s family stays. Being in SRY means we are connected to the local pulse of the city without being in the middle of the heavy downtown traffic. We focus on development work, which involves a lot of looking at sites and figuring out how to make things fit. It is not always smooth sailing; there are always issues with labor or getting materials delivered through the narrow streets. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy slogans for us. We just handle the work as it comes. Most of our time is spent on-site or dealing with the local authorities for permits. It is a lot of back-and-forth travel. Lucknow is growing fast, and there is always a new project popping up somewhere. We try to keep our focus on the small details that matter to the people who will eventually live in the spaces we develop. It’s practical, everyday work. We have been around for a bit and people in the neighborhood know us. We just keep our heads down, do the paperwork, and see the construction through to the end. It is a steady way to work and we just keep our focus on the daily tasks.
