SKG Contractors is located at 5D/128 in Vrindavan Yojna-1, right off Raebareli Road in Lucknow. This area has grown so fast over the last few years, and being right here puts us in the center of all the new building projects. We spend a lot of time out on Raebareli Road, heading to different sites or meeting with people about new projects. The office is a simple place where we keep our records and meet with our foremen. It’s not a corporate headquarters with marble floors, just a regular office with some chairs and a lot of maps on the wall. We handle a variety of contracting work, which means we are always dealing with some kind of problem, whether it's a delay in bricks or a machine breaking down. That’s just the nature of the business, though. We’ve got a small crew that knows the Lucknow area really well, which helps when we need to find specific parts or extra hands. Most days are spent checking progress and making sure we aren't falling behind schedule. We don't really have time for big speeches about what we do. We just want to make sure the buildings we work on are safe and finished when they are supposed to be. It’s hard work, but it feels good to see something actually get built from nothing in our own neighborhood and watch the city change.
