Our place, Shri Lagan Constructions Private Limited, is situated in the Dalibagh area of Lucknow. Specifically, we are at Flat No. 102 in the 1st Classic Apartment on Rajaram Mohanrai Marg. It’s a bit unusual having a construction office in an apartment building, but it works for us. It keeps things small and personal. Lucknow is a big city with a lot of old charm and new buildings popping up everywhere. We focus on our local projects and try to keep our heads down. The apartment gets a bit cramped when we have all the site supervisors in for a meeting. There’s always someone making tea or looking for a misplaced file. Being on Rajaram Mohanrai Marg means we are close to the heart of the city, which is convenient for getting supplies. We don't have a lot of fancy slogans. We just talk about concrete, steel, and deadlines. Sometimes the lifts in the building are slow, so we end up taking the stairs a lot. It’s just how it is. We’ve worked on various sites across Lucknow and every one of them has taught us something new. We aren't polished business people; we are builders who happen to have an office in Dalibagh. We just keep moving forward with the work we have in front of us and try to stay on schedule.
