Shivi Professional Academy (Opc) Private Limited is located at H.No. 4/488 in Vibhav Khand, which is over in the Gomti Nagar area of Lucknow. It’s a residential house that we’ve turned into our workspace. Using a house as an office makes the whole place feel a bit more relaxed than those big office blocks. We’ve got different rooms set up for the various parts of the academy work. There’s usually a lot of books and notebooks lying around because that’s just the nature of what we do here. The street outside is usually quiet, except when school lets out or when people are coming home from work. We spend a lot of time on our computers and talking to people who are looking for professional guidance. It’s a one-person company setup technically, but there are always people coming and going. We don’t have fancy signs or big posters on the walls. It’s just a practical place where we get things done. Sometimes the internet acts up, or the power goes out for a bit, but that’s just life in Lucknow. We usually have a kettle going for tea throughout the afternoon to keep us moving. We don’t really bother with marketing ourselves too much; we just focus on the people who find their way to our door in Vibhav Khand. It's a simple operation, run by people who know the local area well and just want to keep the academy running smoothly.
