You can find us on Vip Road, right near the Kashiram Sansthan Smarak, close to Pakri Ka Pul. Shukla Motor Training School has been around this area for a good while. Every morning, we get the cars ready and wait for the students to show up. Driving on Vip Road can be a bit much for beginners, so we often take them to the quieter side streets first. It’s a lot of sitting in the passenger seat and keeping a foot near the extra brake. We’ve seen all kinds of drivers—some who are natural and some who take a lot longer to get the hang of the clutch. The office is just a small place where we keep the registers and the keys. It’s near the landmark, so people don’t usually have trouble finding us. The bridge, Pakri Ka Pul, is always busy with traffic, which makes for good practice once someone is ready. We don’t have a fleet of fancy new cars; we use what works and what’s reliable. It’s a simple business. We talk about traffic rules, road signs, and how to handle the local congestion. The summer heat makes the car cabins pretty warm, but we keep the windows down or the AC running when it’s really bad. It’s a job of patience, really. We like seeing someone finally get their license and drive off on their own after a few weeks of practice.
