We are located right near the Khazana Complex on Kanpur Road. Being in the LDA Colony area of Lucknow makes it pretty easy for the students to find where we are. It is a very functional building that doesn't waste much space. We focus on diploma courses here, so a lot of the work involves practical things rather than just reading from a book. You will often see students working on their projects or carrying around big technical drawings. The labs have been used a lot over the years, so the equipment looks a bit lived-in, but everything works well enough for the daily lessons. We aren't a big university with huge green lawns and fancy statues; we’re more of a compact setup in a busy part of the city. The main office is usually a bit of a mess with files and admission forms piled up on the desks. We have a small area where students can grab a snack or a drink between their classes. The traffic out on Kanpur Road is always loud, so you can hear the horns even when we shut the windows. It is a very urban kind of school. The staff here are mostly local people who know Lucknow well. We spend our time trying to keep the schedule on track and making sure everyone gets their time in the lab. It is a down-to-earth place for learning a specific skill and then heading out to find a job.
