Defence Academy

Over in Telibagh, specifically at 155 Rajiv Nagar, that’s where you’ll find the Defence Academy. The Ghoshiana area stays busy throughout the day, and our spot is right in the thick of it. It’s a place where young guys and some girls come because they really want to get into the military or police services. We don't have any fancy leather chairs, glass partitions, or air-conditioned lobbies. It's mostly just rows of desks, big whiteboards, and a lot of old books and photocopied notes lying around the place. People come in from all over Lucknow, and some even travel from further out by taking the local bus to get here on time. The walls have some old maps and charts on them, and the floor usually needs a good sweep by the afternoon because of all the students coming in and out. We spend most of our hours going over exam patterns and doing some physical training when the weather isn't too bad outside. It’s hard work for the students, and they are usually pretty tired by the end of the day, but they keep showing up every morning. Sometimes the little tea stall just down the road is where the students sit and talk about their hopes after the classes are done. We don't really do any big advertisements or have a marketing team. Most people just hear about us from a cousin who studied here. It’s just a straightforward setup for folks.
