You can find Shakoor Infratech Llp operating out of House Number 3 in the Mohalla Patwari area of Bijnor, here in Lucknow. It’s a local neighborhood where everyone knows everyone else, so we get a lot of neighbors poking their heads in to see what we are working on. The office space is pretty basic, just some desks pushed together and a lot of power strips on the floor for our laptops. We deal with a lot of infrastructure work, so there are usually rolls of site plans leaning against the corners of the room. It feels more like a home than a business center, which is fine by us. We don't wear suits or anything; most of us are in jeans and boots ready to head out to a site if something goes wrong. The street outside can get a bit narrow when a truck tries to pass through, and we often have to help guide them. It’s a busy little spot. We spend our hours tracking materials and talking to engineers. Sometimes we lose track of time and realize it’s dark outside before we’ve even finished the day's notes. There is a small tea stall just down the road that keeps us going during the long afternoons. We aren't big on fancy presentations or polished speeches. We just like to get the work done and make sure the projects in the Lucknow area are moving along as they should be for the people.
