Our office is located at SS-876 in Sector H of the LDA Colony. It is right off Kanpur Road here in Lucknow, so it’s pretty easy to find once you get into the residential lanes. We handle infratech projects, which mostly means we spend our time dealing with building materials and site plans for local work. It is a quiet enough street most of the time, though you can hear the main road traffic in the distance. The office itself is just a regular building where we keep all our ledgers and equipment. My cousin helps out with the paperwork and I am usually the one heading out to check on the progress of our current jobs. We have lived in this part of Lucknow for a long time, so we know the people and how things get done around here. We don't have those polished glass offices you see in the big city centers. It’s just a functional space with a couple of plastic chairs and a cooling fan that rattles a bit. Sometimes clients stop by for a chat and we just talk about the projects over some water or tea. We like to keep the work straightforward without a bunch of complicated talk. The summers get really hot, so we usually try to get the heavy outdoor work done early in the morning before the sun gets too high over the colony.
