Sakshi And Ashi Builders And Developers(Opc) Private Limited is based in Sant Puram, Takrohi, over in the Indira Nagar area. It’s an OPC, which means it’s a small operation, but we stay very busy. The office is at A-8, and it’s usually filled with the sound of someone typing or a fan humming. We do a bit of everything when it comes to building. One day we might be talking to a plumber and the next we are trying to find a specific type of brick that a client wants. Indira Nagar is a big place, and there is always someone fixing up a house or starting something new. We try to stay local so we don't have to spend all day in traffic. It’s hard work, and sometimes we go home covered in mud or cement dust. We don’t have a big team of secretaries to answer the phones, so if we’re on a roof, you might have to wait for a callback. We take our work seriously, even if we don’t have a polished way of talking about it. The weather is our biggest boss; if it’s too hot or too wet, we have to stop. But as soon as it clears up, we are back out there. We’ve had some tough times getting materials lately, but we manage. It’s just the life of a builder.
