Rishay Estates is based out of an old house in the Paper Mill Colony area of Nishatganj. Lucknow is a big city, but this neighborhood still feels a bit more settled and traditional. Working from House No. C37/1 means we aren't in one of those cold, modern office buildings. It feels more like a home, which suits us just fine. We spend our days looking at land deals and helping people navigate the local property market. It’s a lot of walking around and checking out different plots of land. Our desks are spread out in the main rooms, and there's usually a pot of tea going somewhere. We get a lot of local residents stopping by just to ask questions about prices in the colony. We don't have a receptionist in a suit; usually, whoever is closest to the door just gets up to say hello. The streets around the paper mill can get a bit congested during peak hours, so we’ve learned to plan our site visits carefully. Dealing with real estate in Lucknow requires a bit of patience and a lot of local knowledge. We try to keep things honest and clear when we are talking to people. There’s no point in making things more complicated than they already are. We just stick to what we know and try to help folks find what they need in the city. It’s a quiet way to work. We like it here.
