Our place, Pratap Technicals, is at H.NO.647A/029A in Gudiyanpurwa, which is part of the Jankipuram area in Lucknow. It's a bit of a maze to find us if you don't know these streets well, but once you're here, it’s a busy little hub of activity. We do technical work related to construction and infrastructure. The office is basically a converted house, which makes the whole atmosphere feel pretty casual and relaxed. We usually have the radio playing in the background and some tea going while we look over the latest project plans. Jankipuram is a big area with a lot of new houses and roads being built every day. We stay busy with the technical side of things, making sure the measurements are exactly right and the materials are what they’re supposed to be. It’s not always exciting work, but it’s necessary for the buildings to stand. We have a couple of desks crowded with files and some old site photos from years ago. The staff is just a few of us who have known each other for a long time. We try to be honest with our clients about how long things take. Construction is never as fast as people want it to be. We deal with the usual problems like power cuts or late deliveries from the warehouse, but we just work around it. It’s a practical business, and we treat it that way. We aren't trying to be the biggest company, just a reliable one.
