MSK BUILDCON PRIVATE LIMITED is located out in Khujauli, Mohanlalganj. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city of Lucknow, but we like it out here because there is more space. The office is a simple building we put up a few years back. It’s surrounded by a bit of open land where we store some of our equipment and spare bricks. Being in Mohanlalganj means we work a lot with the local people who are building their first homes. It is a very different vibe than working in the city center. We don't have high-speed internet that works all the time, so a lot of our business is done over the phone or just by people stopping by the gate. My brother and I run the place together. He’s usually out on the bike checking the sites, and I’m here making sure the accounts are somewhat in order. We have a small tea stall just outside where we spend way too much money every month. The dust can be a bit much during the dry season, but you get used to it. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate goals. We just try to build things that won't fall down and make sure our workers get paid on time. It is practical work for practical people, and that suits us just fine.
