Metricon Engineering & Construction is over in DLF Garden City, specifically at ET08/303 LIG EWS in the Purseni area of Lucknow. It’s a newer part of town and there’s always something happening around here these days. We are a small group of engineers and builders. We spent a lot of time studying this stuff in school, but the real learning happens on the job site when things don't go according to the drawings we made. Our office is pretty modest. We’ve got a few computers and a lot of printed plans laying around on every surface. We do a lot of structural work and general building. It can be stressful when a deadline is coming up fast or when the weather turns bad on us, but we try to keep a level head. We don’t use those big, fancy words to try and impress people. We just talk like normal folks. If there’s a problem with a pipe or a beam, we just say it and then we figure out how to fix it. Lucknow is growing fast, and being in Purseni means we see it every day. We just want to do work that we don't have to go back and fix later on. Sometimes we stay late at the office trying to figure out a tricky part of a project that’s giving us trouble. It’s just us, a few desks, and a lot of hard work. We aren't looking for any awards, just looking to finish the next job and move to the one after that.
