We’re set up at B 1/16 in Vipul Khand, which is part of the Gomti Nagar area in Lucknow. It’s a decent spot, though parking can be a bit of a nightmare during the middle of the day. Kai Builder Llp is basically a few of us who have been in the construction game for a while. Our office is pretty lived-in, with dust on the shelves and rolls of blueprints tucked into every corner. We don't really do the whole polished corporate thing. We’d rather be out at a site checking on the concrete than sitting behind a desk. Gomti Nagar has changed so much since we first started, and we’ve seen it grow into what it is today. Our daily routine involves a lot of back-and-forth with suppliers and workers. It’s messy work, and there’s always something that doesn't go quite as planned. A pipe might leak or a delivery might be late, and we just have to fix it. We don't have a big fancy sign outside, just a small one so people can find us. We take our work seriously but we keep the atmosphere in the office pretty relaxed. Usually, we're just wearing jeans and boots, ready to head out. It’s a practical way to run things. We focus on getting the walls up and making sure everything is solid. That’s really all there is to it. We don't make promises we can't keep, we just build.
