Our office is tucked away at Plot No 17, House No 358/216KA near the TRT Colony in Rajajipuram. If you know Lucknow, you know that Rajajipuram can be a bit of a maze with all its different sections. HJAS Builders & Developers is a small, local outfit. We don't have a big fancy storefront or a team of secretaries. It’s just us and the workers we hire for our building sites. We focus on residential construction and local development projects. A lot of our time is spent talking to suppliers about the price of steel and cement, which seems to change every week. We also spend a lot of time on site, making sure the walls are straight and the work is moving along. The heat in this part of India is no joke, so we try to get the heavy lifting done early in the morning. We aren't trying to be some massive corporation; we just want to do good work for the people in our community. Most of our jobs come from word of mouth because someone’s cousin or neighbor liked what we did for them. It’s a very hands-on job and it can be quite messy with all the sand and bricks everywhere. We’ve been in this neighborhood a long time and we plan to stay here, just doing what we know how to do.
