You can find us at Plot Khasra No. 13 in Bahadurpur, Paharpur. This part of Lucknow is a bit further out, but it’s where we do our work. HGF CONSTRUCTION INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED is the name on the front, though most people just know us by our names. We have a decent-sized plot here where we keep some of our equipment. The office is a small building we put up ourselves. It’s sturdy but nothing fancy to look at. We spend most of our mornings planning out where the trucks need to go and who is working on what section of the project. It’s a lot of logistics, really. Sometimes the mud gets everywhere when it rains, and we have to put down wooden planks just to get to the door. It’s not a perfect setup, but it’s ours. We have a small radio that plays local stations all day long. It keeps the mood light even when we are stressed about deadlines. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. Most of our work comes from people just seeing what we do and asking if we can help them out too. We keep it simple and try to be fair with everyone. It’s a busy life, but we like being outdoors and seeing something actually being built from the ground up. The dog from the neighboring field usually hangs out by our gate waiting for scraps.
