H S Memorial Senior Secondary School

H S Memorial Senior Secondary School is located in Harihar Nagar, which is part of the Indira Nagar area in Lucknow. It’s a pretty established neighborhood, so we have houses and small shops all around us. The school has a few floors, and the older students usually have their classes on the top level. You can see the rooftops of the city from the windows up there. The traffic in Indira Nagar can be a real headache in the morning, so everyone tries to get here early to beat the rush. Our playground is just a patch of ground where the boys play cricket when they get a chance. The walls have a few cracks here and there, but the building is sturdy enough for our needs. We have a small office where all the paperwork happens, and it’s always piled high with files and books. The teachers here have been around for a long time, and they know the families in the 226016 area quite well. We don't have a big auditorium, so when we have an assembly, we just gather in the main courtyard. It gets a bit cramped, but it works for us. The water cooler is a very popular spot during the breaks because the Lucknow heat is no joke. It’s just a regular senior secondary school where we keep things running as best as we can.
