Our office is located in Rahmat Nagar, which is part of the Amethi area near Lucknow. Specifically, it is the Jagdeo Bahadur Rahmat Nagar side. It is a bit of a drive from the main Lucknow city center but it is growing fast these days. We do development work which basically means we spend our time looking at land and figuring out what can be done with it. Some days are slow and we just sit around drinking tea and talking about the property prices in Uttar Pradesh. Other days are frantic with paperwork and visiting different sites. The roads around here can get a bit muddy when it rains, making it tough to get the vehicles out to the edge of town. We are just a small team of people trying to make a living in the real estate sector. We do not have a big marketing team or anything like that. If someone needs to talk to us, they usually just drop by the office or give us a call on the mobile. It is mostly local people we deal with. We know the neighbors and the local shops around Rahmat Nagar pretty well. The atmosphere here is quiet compared to the big city bustle. We just focus on the next plot or the next small building project. It is honest work and we have been doing it for a while now without much fuss or noise.
