We are located over at H. No. 1/673 in Vishal Khand. Being in Gomti Nagar is nice because it’s a well-known part of Lucknow. Friends For Life Infratech started because a few of us wanted to work together on local building projects. It’s just a regular house that we use for our operations. You’ll usually see a couple of bikes parked outside during the day. Inside, it’s mostly files and maps of different areas we are looking at. We don’t have a receptionist or anything like that. If someone knocks, one of us just gets up and opens the door. Most of our work happens out in the field, but this is where we come back to do the math and pay the bills. The neighborhood is quiet compared to the main roads. We like it that way because we can actually think and get things done. Sometimes we sit out on the porch and talk about the next steps for a project. We focus on infratech stuff, which is basically just making sure things get built right. It’s a lot of back and forth with contractors. We’ve been here for a while now, and we know the local shops well. It’s not a high-pressure environment, just steady work day in and day out. We try to keep things simple with everyone who walks in. It is just a few friends working together in a quiet corner of the city.
