DREAM HOME INFRABUILD LLP is located at B 58 on the second floor in Vibhuti Khand, Gomti Nagar. This is a very busy and crowded part of Lucknow. There are offices, banks, and shops all around us. Being on the second floor means we are right in the middle of all that daily action. We focus on infrabuilding, which basically means we are involved in the actual structure of homes and buildings. Our office isn't very large at all, but it works fine for what we need. We have our computers and some drafting tables where we sit and look at the house designs. Gomti Nagar has changed so much over the years; it’s hard to keep up with the new buildings sometimes. The noise from the street below is always there, but we have gotten used to it by now. We spend a lot of time talking to different vendors and trying to get a decent price for bricks or bags of cement. It is a lot of back-and-forth phone calls. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon and we just have to sit and wait it out. That is just part of life in Uttar Pradesh. We are not some big fancy corporation with a marketing budget. We are just a small team trying to build decent, solid homes for regular people. We go to the sites, check the masonry, and come back here to finish our notes.
