City Model Public High School

City Model Public High School is located at 551-Ga/118 on Kanpur Road in the Alambagh area of Lucknow. If you know Lucknow, you know that Kanpur Road is one of the busiest stretches in the city. Our school is right there in the middle of all that noise and movement. It’s an old building that has been here for a long time. You can see the age in the bricks and the way the stairs have worn down from thousands of feet. Alambagh is a crowded place and the school is no different. We have kids packed into the classrooms and the teachers are always on the move. It’s a very urban setting with the sounds of buses and horns constantly in the background. Despite the chaos outside, we keep a pretty steady routine inside. The 226005 area is a real mix of businesses and homes. We’ve had generations of the same families come through our doors. We don't have a big playground or a fancy campus, just the building we’ve always had. The staff room is small and usually smells like tea and old books. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We are just a local high school in a busy part of town trying to get the students through their exams. It’s a practical place, not a polished corporate one, and we like it that way.
