Building Needs International Privatelimited operates out of 3/1221 Jnkp Vistro in Lucknow. It’s a bit of a mouthful of a name, but we’re really just a group of people trying to supply what builders need around here. Being in the Jnkp Vistro area means we’re right in the middle of a lot of new activity. We spend a lot of time talking to contractors and trying to figure out where we can find the right materials. It’s not always easy. Sometimes the market is short on things, or the prices jump up overnight, and we have to explain that to people. It’s a lot of back-and-forth. Our office isn't anything special to look at, just a place with some desks and a lot of samples lying around. We’ve got a small crew and we all end up doing a bit of everything. One day I’m checking invoices, the next I’m helping load a truck because someone didn’t show up. That’s just how it is. We’ve been around Lucknow long enough to know who to call when things get stuck. It’s a practical business. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just rely on the fact that people need stuff built and we happen to have the connections to help. It’s tiring work, but it keeps us busy and the days go by fast. You'll usually find us with a cup of tea by mid-morning while we sort through the latest batch of delivery notes.
