You can find us over at D-2012 in Indira Nagar, right here in Lucknow. Brij Builders and Developers Private Limited has been operating from this spot for a bit. It’s a busy neighborhood and we like being in the middle of it. Our work is mostly about building houses and looking after development projects around the city. It's not always easy work. One day you’re dealing with a broken pipe and the next it’s a delay with the brick delivery. That is just how the construction business goes. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out at the sites making sure things are actually happening. It’s a small group of us here. We don’t use any of those big fancy words to describe what we do. We just build. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit much with all the local regulations in Uttar Pradesh, but we manage. People stop by the office occasionally to ask about plots or how their house is coming along. We keep a pot of tea going and try to give them straight answers. There is always noise from the street outside, but we are used to it by now. It feels good to see a project finally finished after months of dust and noise. We aren’t trying to be the biggest company in Lucknow, we just want to keep working and keep the lights on here in Indira Nagar.
