Lucknow is a big place, but we’ve tucked ourselves into the Lohia Complex over in Chhota Bharwara. Being in Gomti Nagar means there is always something going on nearby. Our office at 92/11 is where all the planning happens, though most of us would rather be out on the field. It’s a bit of a trek sometimes getting through the city, but we’ve gotten used to the pace of things here. We spend our mornings drinking tea and looking over what needs to be finished. The construction business is mostly about solving problems you didn't see coming the day before. You think you have enough sand, then you don't. Or a tool goes missing. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. It's just us. The walls of the office are covered in old site maps and notes scribbled on the backs of envelopes. We’ve been working around this area for a bit, so we know the neighborhood pretty well. It's dusty work and it's loud, but there is something nice about seeing a structure go up where there used to be nothing. We don't try to sound like some giant company from the city. We’re just a local group doing buildcon work in Lucknow. We keep our heads down and stay focused on the bricks and mortar. That’s pretty much the whole story of how we spend our time at Ben5.
