We aren't a massive corporation with hundreds of employees. Instead, we’re a smaller partnership focusing on engineering and technical work. Our office is pretty basic. We have some computers for the design work and a table for meetings, but we’re usually out at various sites around Uttar Pradesh. The traffic in Lucknow can be a nightmare sometimes, so we try to plan our site visits early in the morning to avoid the worst of it. We deal with the usual headaches like permits and finding reliable labor, but that’s just part of the job. We don’t go for fancy talk or trying to impress people with big presentations. If someone has a technical problem or needs an engineering solution, we sit down and look at the drawings together. It’s more of a hands-on approach. Sometimes we’re working late to finish a project report, and other times the office is quiet because everyone is out in the field. We like it that way. It’s a practical way to run a business without getting caught up in too much corporate stuff. We just focus on the tasks we have in front of us. No big speeches, just engineering work for the local community.
