Chame Agro Producer Company Limited

Chame Agro Producer Company Limited is based out of house number 870 in Selu. That’s in the Ausa area of Latur. We are basically just a group of people from the village who wanted to do things a bit differently with our farming. Usually, everyone just does their own thing, but we thought if we joined up, maybe we could get things like fertilizer or seeds a bit easier. It’s a simple operation. We don’t have a shop front or anything, just the house where we keep our papers and meet up. Latur can be a dry place, so farming here takes a lot of patience and looking at the sky for rain. We talk about what’s growing well and what isn’t. Sometimes we get together to figure out how to transport our stuff to the bigger markets without spending too much money. It’s mostly just practical stuff. We don’t go in for big promises. We just want to see our crops grow and our families stay fed. If you come by Selu, you’ll find us easily enough. Everyone knows everyone here. We spend most of our time out in the sun, so the office work usually happens in the evenings. It’s just regular life for us. We keep things moving one day at a time. No big corporate talk, just farming talk between neighbors who trust each other.
