Our company, Shram Nishtha Organic Farmers Producer Company Limited, is based at House No.363 in Harangul (Kd). That is in the Latur district, not too far from the main town. We are a producer company, which means we work directly with the people growing things in the soil. It’s a lot of organic focus here. Latur can be a tough place for farming because of the water, but people here work hard. We have our small office in the village area. It’s a simple house, nothing like the big offices you see in Pune or Mumbai. We spend most of our time meeting with farmers and discussing the crops. There is always something to talk about when it comes to organic methods. The 413512 area is where we do most of our operations. We started this because there was a need to organize the local producers. It’s not about making a huge profit; it’s more about making sure the work gets done and the farmers have a place to go.
