Urbanfarmer Aquaponics & Hydroponics

If you head over to Avinash Colony, you’ll find us at Urbanfarmer Aquaponics & Hydroponics. We are set up C/O Nish Provision, which is a local spot everyone knows. We are also quite close to the Power House in the Waluj district. It’s an interesting place to do this kind of work. You can hear the hum from the Power House sometimes. We spend our time looking after the systems and making sure the water is moving like it should. It’s not your typical farm. Being in Avinash Colony means we are right there with the houses, but our setup is a bit different. We have pipes and tanks and all sorts of things growing in ways people aren't always used to seeing. It gets a bit humid inside where the plants are, and there is always the sound of running water. Nish Provision is right there, so we are never too far from a cup of tea. We aren't a big corporation; we are just a few people interested in how to grow things better in Waluj. The floors are often a bit wet, and we wear boots most of the day. It’s a lot of manual work, checking levels and cleaning filters. We just enjoy the process of watching things grow from nothing. It’s a quiet life in the colony, and we just keep to our routine at Urbanfarmer.
