Saidpur Lalitpur Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of Mohrani in Lalitpur. Specifically in the Saidpur area. Sunil Kumar Jha is the one who keeps things organized here. Lalitpur is a tough place for farming sometimes. The ground can be very hard and the water is not always easy to find when you need it. We are a group of farmers who live and work in these conditions every day. We formed this company to help each other out. It is better to face the challenges together than alone. We do not have a big marketing department. In fact, we do not have a marketing department at all. We just talk to each other and the people we sell to. Our office is a simple room in Mohrani. It is where we keep our registers and meet to talk about the next season. There is no air conditioning or fancy lights. Just some fans that sometimes work when the power is on. We spend a lot of time worrying about the monsoon. If it does not come on time, everything gets stressed. But that is the life we chose. We are proud of being from Saidpur and we want to see our community do better. We are just regular people with calloused hands and a bit of hope. We do not make big promises. We just work hard and try to get the best crops we can from the Lalitpur soil.
