Lalitpur Gram Wheat Producer Company Limited

Over in Werwara Budhwar, Lalitpur, we have the Lalitpur Gram Wheat Producer Company Limited. It is run by the family of Nirbhan Singh. We focus a lot on wheat because that is what grows best around here. We are not some big city business with shiny windows. We are just farmers who have lived in this village for a long time. Our group was formed so we could have a better way to sell what we grow. It is a lot of work to keep the wheat healthy and get it harvested on time. We don't have a fancy mission. We just want to make sure the village does okay. We talk to each other every day about the soil and the water. Sometimes the seasons are tough on us, but we stay together as a group. You won't find any polished speeches here. We just speak plain English and get to the point. Most of us are more comfortable in the fields than in an office anyway. If you are looking for us, just head toward Werwara Budhwar and ask for Nirbhan Singh’s place. We are usually around somewhere, working or planning for the next planting season. It’s a simple life, focused on the grain and the land that gives it to us. We just keep doing what we know best.
