Shree Momaykrupa Hotel

Shree Momaykrupa Hotel is situated right on the Bhuj Bhachau Highway. You will see us near the Euro Company in the Bhachau area of Kutch. Being on a highway means we get a lot of travelers who are just passing through. It is a dusty part of the world, and the wind can blow quite hard across the open land. We have plenty of space for trucks to park out front, so we see a lot of drivers who need a break from the long road. The building is a simple structure that keeps the sun out. Inside, it’s usually a bit cooler than it is outside. We serve simple meals and plenty of hot tea. The tea is probably the most important thing we sell, especially in the early morning when the air is still a bit chilly. The kitchen is basic, with big burners and large pots that stay on the fire for most of the day. We don't have much in the way of decoration, just some calendars on the wall and a small shrine. The staff lives nearby, and we all know the highway like the back of our hands. It’s a quiet life out here, except for the sound of the big trucks rolling past. We don't see many tourists, mostly just working people who need a place to sit for a half-hour before they continue their journey toward Bhuj or beyond.
