Asian Station (Radisson Hotel Kandla)

Our restaurant, Asian Station, is located inside the Radisson Hotel Kandla. You can find us in the Rajvee Complex on Airport Road in Gandhidham. We’re out in the Galpadar area, which is a bit of a hub for people traveling for work or heading to the port nearby. Being inside a bigger hotel means we follow a certain routine, but we’re just a team of cooks and servers trying to make decent Asian food. The atmosphere in Gandhidham can be a bit dusty and industrial, but inside the complex, it’s a different world. We spend a lot of time in the kitchen prepping for the evening service. It’s a lot of chopping, stir-frying, and making sure we have enough supplies coming in from the local markets. We don’t really do much in the way of advertising; people usually find us because they’re staying in the hotel or they live nearby and want something different to eat for a change. Sometimes the kitchen gets really hot, and the pace gets pretty frantic when a big group walks in without a booking. We just do our best to keep up and get the food out. It’s a job that keeps us busy from afternoon until late at night. We’re just a regular crew of people working in a restaurant, nothing more than that. We take pride in what we do, but we don’t make a big fuss about it. It's just what we do every day.
