Gandhidham Hotels Association

Our office is located over in Sector 1/A in Gandhidham. We aren't a hotel ourselves, but we work with the many hotels around the Kutch area. It is an association where we try to keep everyone on the same page. I spend a lot of time on the phone talking to different hotel owners or managers about what is happening in the local industry. Gandhidham is a busy place for travelers and business people, so there are always things to discuss. Sometimes we meet up to talk about local regulations or just to see how the season is going. It is a lot of administrative work, keeping records and making sure everyone is informed. The office at Gandhidham Hotels Association is pretty quiet compared to the hotels we represent. I have a lot of files and ledgers from over the years. We have seen the sector change quite a bit as more people visit Kutch. It is not about selling rooms for us; it is more about the community of people who run these businesses. We try to help out when there are issues with the local utilities or when someone needs advice on how to handle a new rule. It is a small group of us here. We just do the daily tasks that keep an association running. Sector 1/A is a good central spot for us to be based, as it is easy for everyone to reach.
