Antique Handicraft

Our workshop, Antique Handicraft, is located in Kailash Nagar, right near the ST Workshop. It’s a busy area with a lot of buses and people moving through, but inside our doors, things move a bit slower. We aren't a big factory with assembly lines. It’s just a few of us who enjoy making things with our hands. The floor is usually covered in wood shavings or scraps of material, and we have tools hanging all over the walls. We don't have a corporate office or a sales team. If you call us, you’ll probably talk to the person who is actually making your item. We like it that way because it keeps things simple. We don't use fancy marketing speak to sell our work. We just show people what we’ve made, and if they like it, that’s great. Some days we spend hours just trying to get one small detail right. It’s not the most efficient way to run a business, but we aren't really looking to be a giant company. We just want to make things that look nice and last a long time. People usually find us by word of mouth or by just stopping in when they see the sign near the workshop. We don't have any big plans for world domination. We just want to keep our craft going and earn enough to keep the shop open for another year. It’s honest, quiet work and we wouldn't have it any other way.
