Navyug Senior Secondary School

This school is based in Vashisht Colony, which is in Sector 13 of Kurukshetra. It’s a well-known part of the town, and the school has been a fixture here for quite some time. The building is a solid, older structure that has seen a lot of classes come and go over the years. We have classrooms for the younger kids as well as the senior secondary students who are preparing for their big exams. The hallways are wide, and you’ll often see students standing around chatting during the short breaks between periods. We have some science labs that have all the standard equipment like beakers and burners, though they definitely look like they’ve been used for many years. The playground is a big open space where the physical education classes happen. In the winter months in Kurukshetra, it gets quite cold, so everyone is usually bundled up in their sweaters during the morning assembly. The staff room is a busy place where teachers drink tea and go over their notes for the next hour. There is a small library too, filled with rows of old books that the students can borrow. It’s a straightforward school environment where the focus is just on getting through the daily curriculum. We don’t go in for anything too fancy; it’s just about the students and their daily work in the classroom. The staff makes sure the attendance is taken every morning and the gates are locked during school hours.
