Bds School

Bds School is right here in Mukarpur, Kurukshetra. It is a pretty straightforward place where the kids come every morning. You can see the gate from the main path. Most of us who work here have been around this part of Kurukshetra for a long time. The building isn't brand new or anything, but it does the job for the students. We have these rows of desks that have seen a lot of use over the years. In the mornings, there is a lot of noise when everyone arrives, and then it gets quiet once classes start. Mukarpur is a quiet enough area anyway. We spend a lot of time just making sure the fans are working and the chalk is ready. There is a small area outside where the kids run around during the break. It gets quite dusty when the wind picks up, but that is just how it is in this part of Haryana. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just open the windows wider. We don't have fancy gadgets in every room. It is just books and teachers talking. People in the village know us by name. We see the parents at the market too. It feels like a small community here. Nothing too complicated happens. We open up early, get through the lessons, and head home when the sun starts going down. It is a regular school for regular families around here.
