Gurukul Kurukshetra

Gurukul Kurukshetra is situated in Thanesar, which is right in the heart of Kurukshetra. This place has a lot of history, and the school has been a part of the local landscape for a very long time. It is not like your typical modern school with high-tech gadgets everywhere. We stick to a more traditional way of doing things. The campus is quite large, and you will see students walking around in their uniforms, often looking very disciplined. We have a lot of open space and trees, which is nice when the weather is good. Morning prayers are a big part of the day here. It is a quiet, serious atmosphere for the most part. The buildings are old but sturdy, and they have seen many generations of students pass through the halls. We do not spend much on advertising or trying to look modern. We just maintain the grounds and make sure the classes happen as they should. The kitchen staff stays busy making simple meals for everyone. Living and studying in Thanesar means being surrounded by old stories and a slower pace of life. We do not have any corporate goals or mission statements pinned to the walls. It is just a school where we try to keep the old traditions alive while teaching the regular subjects required by the board. People around here know us well and we just keep the gate open.
