Kathi King Restaurant

Kathi King Restaurant sits on Amin Road in Kurukshetra. We are right near Geeta Girls School, so we see the students walking past every day when the bell rings. It gets quite loud during those times. The restaurant is at 157-C, and it’s a straightforward setup. We have some tables and chairs that have been here for a while. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but they are fine for now. We spend a lot of time in the back preparing the ingredients. The smell of the spices stays in your clothes long after the shift is over. Amin Road is a busy street, so there is always the sound of horns and engines. We open the doors early and stay until the evening rush is over. Sometimes the regulars come in just to sit and talk for a bit. We don't use any complicated machines, just the basic stuff we need to cook. The floor is tiled and we keep it as clean as we can. It’s a small team here, just a few of us making sure everything runs okay. We don't have a big menu, just the things we know how to make well. It’s a normal business, nothing special, just part of the neighborhood. People know where we are and what we do, and that is enough for us.
